I said before that you love playing with your Noah's Ark set. This seems to be your favorite way to carry the animals around, especially if you're crawling...keeps the hands free.

Uncle Kyle and Aunt Vicki

Uncle Kyle and Aunt Vicki spent the night again with us. I ALWAYS forget to get take a picture of you with them while they're here. We must remember the next time they come home from the Dominican Republic. I did, however, get a picture of some damage you inflicted on their things. Before they came home this time they sent an e-mail asking for a few things they could take back with them to use in their ministry. Our Bible class did great and got them lots of things. Well...you decided to investigate, and made a mess!!! Oh well, it made a cute pic, and they love you even more for being so stinkin' cute!!!

On Top of Spaghetti...

Ryan you tried spaghetti for the first time. Watching you and seeing these pictures, I think it's safe to say you liked it...a lot. You ate A LOT! Daddy didn't think you would eat all that I made for you. You ate all but about two tablespoons, and it was a whole plate full. At first you ate with your hands because you were super hungry, but then you kinda slowed down. So, I helped you with a spoon. At the end you wanted to hold the spoon. Even though you didn't get any spaghetti in your mouth using the spoon, you still got the spoon in there. Pretty good, buddy!

Bigger Boy Bath

Well, Ryan you graduated to a regular bath tub now. I got you a mat that was fun hoping it would help you adjust easily because I remember how hard it was for you to adjust to the duck tub. It didn't work, though. The first few times we put you in the tub you cried and cried. But, even though you look a little drunk in the picture, you really like bath time now. You like to splash around and play with your ducky. You haven't figured out yet that you can move around in the tub, but I'm sure it won't take long for that to happen. Such a big boy!!

WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?!

Well Ryan, your two top front teeth came in and I thought it would be a while until you got any more. It took six months for those to come after all. I was putting your socks on just the other day and had you laying upside down in my lap. You were talking and laughing and I looked down...YOU HAVE ANOTHER TOOTH!!! To the left of your front teeth. AND you had another one about to break through, which has by now. So...within the last two weeks you went from having one tooth to have FIVE!!! There's nothing slowing you down now. No pictures yet, but they will come.

New Tricks

Ryan, while Daddy was gone you learned some new tricks. As you get older it's so much fun to watch you learn new things. You learned how to make the elephant sound. You started making a sound by pressing your lips tight together and blowing and I would say you were an elephant. I started asking what the elephant says and you would do that sound!! (Next is the fish sound. You've started smacking your lips while you eat and it looks like a fish face.) You also learned to wave "hi" and "bye." You started doing this when Gram and Papaw were watching you one night. Now you love to wave to your friends especially. Yesterday we were at the grocery store and you were flirting with some ladies behind us at the check out line. When it was time to go one of the ladies said "bye" and waved and you started waving at them over and over. It just made their day. The other trick you learned is to give kisses. I love it!!! I'll ask you to give me a kiss and you open your mouth as wide as you can and lean in to give me a big wet one. Sometimes I don't even have to ask for a kiss, you just give one to show me how much you love me. I love you too!!!
