Just Plain Cute

I couldn't resist buying this adorable star outfit. You're just so stinkin' cute!!!
You decided to show us how to correctly use a teething ring.

First Time Away from Mom and Dad

Ryan, you spent your first night (two nights, actually) away from Mommy and Daddy. We went to the Youth Retreat and you stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Broyles. You were such a good boy. Mommy missed you so much and called at least twice a day.
You had lots of fun!

Look at those blue eyes!!

Looks like you wore your pajamas a lot! :)

Mommy and Daddy were so glad to see you when we got back.

A Look in the Rear View Mirror

The Other Side

You found the other side of the living room finally. It's kinda hard to get around on...a little slippery.

So Tired

This is how I found you when I got out of the shower one day.

Hangin' out with Mom

"I love you, too!"

Camo

Has anybody seen Ryan? I can't find him!!!

Every boy (especially if you live in Oklahoma) needs a camoflauge outfit. It's cold and rainy today. You look so warm and comfy in these sweats. You're getting better and better at sitting up on your own!

Future OC Eagle

Ryan, you went to your first Oklahoma Christian Homecoming basketball game. We drove down to Grandma Gail and Pop's house Saturday morning. That afternoon we went to the game. You weren't a big fan of all the loud noises at the basketball game. I ended up taking you out into the hallway where we played and talked to friends.

Pops came with us. He loves playing with you and you love being with him. The Eagles won the game...of course.

Boing boing boing!!

7 Months old!!

Thanks to our friend Austin for letting us use his Johny Jumper. We really like it!!!!

A Post for Mom

I chopped 10 inches off my hair to donate to Locks of Love. I was going to try to grow it longer so it wouldn't be so short when I cut it, but I got sick of it.

Our Little Escape Artist

I guess we'll have to buckle you in now...if the buckle will fit.

First Fruit

Ryan, this week you had your first fruit, apples. I think you like them a lot. We also tried squash again, and you decided that it was okay to eat now. That means that so far, there's nothing you won't eat.

P.S. You've also been sleeping through the night for a few weeks now. You go from 8pm to about 6am. The time change has kinda messed you up. You have been waking up at 5 or 5:30 the last couple of days.

First Time to Vote

Okay, so maybe you didn't vote...and can't for another 18 years. You did go with mommy and daddy today, though.

Big Boy!

Here you are in your big boy carseat. It's a monster of a thing. It doesn't come out of the car like the old one. I think you like it. The only bad this is your head slumps down when you fall asleep. We also had to get you a big boy stroller because your old carseat was a part of your old stroller. I'm not sure if you like your new stroller yet.

Last Time

Ryan, this was your last time in your infant carseat. It also happened to be Halloween.

See how big you are! You did not like being in this seat anymore. You would cry and squirm. Mommy had a very hard time getting you buckled in, even if you weren't squirming.

Sitting Up!

Ryan, you've started sitting up. You still get a little wobbly, but you are doing pretty good!
Notice the slobber soaked shirt.

"Ooooh, what is that? It's so shiny."

"He let me hold it!!"

I love this picture. It's like you're saying, "Dad...you're the greatest!"
